Managing your profile as performer
Congratulations on creating your account with Parrot Performers! Before your profile can appear in listings and be visible to potential clients or talent, you need to toggle the “Active” switch. However, we recommend first getting your profile up and running with as many details as possible. A complete profile helps you land jobs faster and more frequently.
Step 1: Toggle Your Profile to “Active”
To make your profile visible, navigate to your profile settings and toggle the “Active” switch. This will allow others to see your profile in the listings. But before you do that, let’s make sure your profile is fully updated.

The more information you provide, the better your chances of receiving the right offers and being shortlisted for the best opportunities. Here’s what you should include:

- Desired Hourly Rate: Specify your rate to set clear expectations.

- Availability: Mention your availability to inform clients when you can start.
- Contract Type: Specify whether you’re looking for freelance, part-time, or full-time opportunities.
- Tags: Types and ideas that appear on your profile to identify your skills set fast

Step 3: Enhance Your Profile with Additional Information
- Upload Portfolio Images: Showcase your work by uploading images of your portfolio. This visual representation can significantly impact your profile’s attractiveness.
- Add a Profile Picture: Adding a profile picture is highly recommended. It personalises your profile and makes you more approachable.
- Add Experience: List your past work experiences to highlight your expertise.

- Add Frequently Asked Questions: Preemptively answer common questions clients might have. This can save time and make your profile more comprehensive.
